I’m Matt, a Brighton-based designer with a passion for purposeful, people-focused creativity. I bring a strong sense of energy, attention to detail, and a commitment to going above and beyond in everything I do; whether that’s developing engaging visual work, creating impactful customer-facing environments, or contributing to team-led projects. My background combines design with hands-on experience in sustainability-focused outreach, hospitality, and content creation, all of which have shaped my collaborative mindset and adaptive approach. Outside of design, I’m driven by personal growth, whether through sport, cooking, or outdoor adventure; always looking for new ways to challenge myself and stay inspired.

Worked as a part of the design team to help bring our degree show, "One Fifty", to life. My role included assisting with the visual identity team, imagining/designing new concepts and working alongside a small team with tight deadlines. The result was a grand success!
Graphic Designer: Work Your Socks Off

I had the opportunity to design the visual poster for 'Work Your Socks Off,' an award-winning student film. My work involved navigating tight brand guidelines to create a compelling and visually engaging representation of the film. This project challenged my creativity and attention to detail, and I'm proud of the final result.
Social Media Manager and Content Creator: University of Brighton Men's Hockey

As the Social Media Manager for the University of Brighton Men's Hockey Team, I crafted stunning visuals and engaging animations that captivated our audience. My efforts not only attracted new members but also significantly expanded our account outreach by nearly 9000% during my tenure. I proudly contributed to a title-winning and two-time varsity-winning team, showcasing the power of effective social media strategy in sports.
Freelance Graphic Designer: Seedfolk
June 2025-Present
I am collaborating with Gemma, the owner of Seedfolk, to create visuals that align with her brand guidelines and enhance her existing social media presence. My primary focus is on creating a content calendar that will help her manage her time more effectively while simultaneously creating visuals for her social media pages.
